Monday before lunch

Here are today's prices: a bowl of tomato pasta costs two pounds. A jacket potato with beans is two pounds fifty. Soup with a bread roll is one pound fifty. An apple is fifty pence; drinking water is free.
Eli
Our class goes in at quarter past twelve. First, take a clean tray by the door. Then join the queue at the hot-food counter. Please don't leave your bag on the floor where people walk with hot food.
Mina
Next, tell the cook what you would like. You pay at the till after you collect your food. There are water jugs on a small table by the windows. You can use a cup from the shelf beside them.
Oscar
After lunch, take your tray to the trolley by the exit. Plates go on the top shelf and cups on the lower shelf. We meet for lunch at the round table by the windows. It has space for all four of us.
