Getting started
Ivy
Our class is starting a weather record for the school garden. We will compare our observations over a week. A few readings will describe our week, not prove what the whole climate is doing.
Dan
I can record the temperature at the same time each day. If I change the time whenever I feel like it, the numbers will be harder to compare fairly.
Mei
I will record rainfall using the gauge our teacher has prepared. I will write the units beside each value. A number without units does not tell the next reader enough.
Cole
I can compare our observations with a forecast. Back home in the United States, I liked watching weather reports. I know a forecast is a prediction, not a promise.
