Our first prototype has three features: a deadline list, a subject filter and an optional reminder. The test is on Wednesday at four in room six. We will use five invented assignments.

The reminder is off by default. Users can choose one reminder for a deadline, rather than receive repeated alerts. We want to help people remember, not keep pulling them back onto the screen.

The subject filter changes what the list shows. It does not delete assignments from other subjects. I will include a clear Show all button so users can see the full list again.

Blake

Four volunteers will try finding tomorrow’s tasks without our help. We will record which steps confuse them, not collect their real homework or compare their marks. The test is about the design.
