First, put soil in each pot. We have six pots on the table. The children can count them before we begin.

Next, put two seeds in each pot. These are our bean seeds. Keep the other seeds in the small paper bag.

Finally, write a name on each label. Put the labels beside the pots. Our tray is blue, and it holds the six pots.

The class garden team meets on Tuesday. We can check the pots and labels together then. The instructions are on our picture cards too.
