A trail for a paper fox

4 Audios · Dauer 0:46 · Gruppe „The Paper Obstacle Trail“

Transkript Teil 1
UhrPersonTextDauer
15:00Alex Hello Jo. Alex here. Our indoor obstacle trail is a small table model. A paper fox moves along it; no person follows the trail. 0:12
15:01Jo Hi Alex. We describe every move in words. The children can understand the route by listening, without needing an extra picture or map. 0:11
15:02Alex Our bridge, cones, hoop and flag are tiny paper objects. We move a paper figure by hand and keep everything on the table. 0:12
15:03Jo Good. The words under, through and around tell us different movements. Hearing just an object's name does not tell us the whole route. 0:11

Teil 2 · Chat

Move the figure in order

4 Audios · Dauer 0:46 · Gruppe „The Paper Obstacle Trail“

Transkript Teil 2
UhrPersonTextDauer
15:05Alex First, move the paper fox under the bridge beside the blue cone. The fox goes below the bridge, not over its top. 0:11
15:06Jo Next, move the fox through the red hoop. Pass the figure through the middle of the hoop, then place it on the table. 0:12
15:07Alex Finally, move the fox around the yellow cone. Stop beside the flag. The figure finishes next to the flag, not inside the hoop. 0:12
15:08Jo Our table model is in room two on Monday. We move only the paper figure; this is not an exercise trail for people. 0:12

A different paper hoop

4 Audios · Dauer 0:46 · Gruppe „The Paper Obstacle Trail“

Transkript Teil 3
UhrPersonTextDauer
15:10Alex The red paper hoop is bent and will not stand in its holder. The blue hoop is straight, so we can use that one. 0:12
15:11Jo Use the blue hoop instead of the red hoop. Only the hoop colour changes; move the paper fox through its middle as before. 0:12
15:12Alex The fox still goes under the bridge first. It still finishes beside the flag. All other objects and movements stay the same. 0:12
15:13Jo I can replace the hoop on our model. Please say the route again before moving the paper fox along the updated trail. 0:11

Teil 4 · Chat

Say the movement and object

4 Audios · Dauer 0:44 · Gruppe „The Paper Obstacle Trail“

Transkript Teil 4
UhrPersonTextDauer
15:15Alex I can say one movement slowly before moving the figure. My partner has time to check which way the fox should go. 0:11
15:16Jo I can name the object after the movement word. Under the bridge gives both the action clue and the place to look for. 0:10
15:17Alex I wait for my partner to check each move. Then we can notice a wrong turn before the figure reaches the next object. 0:12
15:18Jo That helps, Alex. We can describe the whole route without running or climbing. The small paper fox does every movement on our table. 0:11

Teil 5 · Exit-Ticket

Transkript Teil 5
UhrPersonTextDauer
Jo Here is another table trail. Move a paper bear through a green hoop. Next, move it around a blue cone. Stop behind the small flag. Only the paper figure moves. The model stays in the classroom. 0:17
