Transkript Teil 1
UhrPersonTextDauer
15:00Alex Hello Jo. Our invented visitor centre has model buildings and a drawing area. We need to explain its own rules to the group. 0:10
15:01Jo Hi Alex. Visitors can draw the models, but they must not touch them. These are rules for our fictional centre, not laws. 0:11
15:02Alex Visitors must put their bags on the shelf. The models need space around them. We can explain each instruction with a picture. 0:10
15:03Jo The children will listen for what is allowed, required or forbidden. Those meanings are different, even when the same object is mentioned. 0:11

15:05Alex First, put bags on the shelf. Visitors must leave bags there during the visit. They must not leave them beside the models. 0:10
15:06Jo Next, collect a pencil at the desk. Visitors can draw the models. They do not have to finish a picture. 0:09
15:07Alex Finally, look at the models from the marked area. Visitors must not touch them. The visit begins at ten on Thursday. 0:11
15:08Jo Our group will use the side entrance in the first plan. Drawing is allowed, but touching the models is not allowed. 0:09

A different entrance

Transkript Teil 3
UhrPersonTextDauer
15:10Alex The side entrance is needed for a delivery during our visit. We need a different entrance, but the centre visit can continue. 0:10
15:11Jo Use the front entrance instead of the side entrance. Only our way into the centre changes. The visit rules remain exactly the same. 0:11
15:12Alex We still visit on Thursday. We still begin at ten. Visitors can still draw and must still leave their bags on the shelf. 0:10
15:13Jo Please tell the group the new entrance before we arrive. Check the rule signs inside rather than guessing from the entrance change. 0:10

Teil 4 · Chat

Permission is not an order

4 Audios · Dauer 0:42 · Gruppe „Visitor Centre Rules“

Transkript Teil 4
UhrPersonTextDauer
15:15Alex I can draw three sign cards for allowed, required and forbidden. Children can sort the messages by their meaning before the visit. 0:11
15:16Jo I can read each rule twice with a pause. A partner can explain what a visitor may do or has to do. 0:10
15:17Alex Visitors can draw means drawing is allowed. It does not mean everyone must produce a finished picture during this visit. 0:11
15:18Jo Exactly. Permission is not an order. We check the whole instruction, because a small word can change what the visitor needs to do. 0:10
