I can place three small pictures in yesterday's order: the delivery, the card and the flowers. That makes our completed story easier to follow.
Jo
I can underline yesterday and eleven in the account. That shows when these finished actions happened, before anyone repeats the story to visitors.
Alex
The pictures help us check the order of completed actions. We should describe the delivery before the welcome card, just as it happened.
Jo
Yes. A clear past account keeps the time and order together. We can now tell the club the corrected flower colour without changing the events.
